Paras Metal Works

We are over at 90 Kansara Chawl, which is right on Kalbadevi Road. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the people and carts moving around all day. Paras Metal Works has been in this spot for a good while now. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside the chawl, but we have our benches set up and all the tools we need for the metal work we do. Usually, there is a lot of noise from the hammering and the machines, but that is just how it is around here. The walls have seen better days and there is always a layer of metal dust on everything, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. It is just the workshop where we get things done. Most days, we are just busy handling orders and moving pieces of metal from one corner to the other. People find us because they know we are here at number 90. It’s a practical place, not something you’d see in a fancy magazine. We just open the doors in the morning, start the work, and stay until the light goes down. Sometimes the traffic on Kalbadevi Road is so loud we can barely hear ourselves talk, but you get used to it after a few years. It’s just a regular local business doing what we know how to do with metal.
