Rock Bottom

If you head down AB Nair Road in Juhu, you'll find us at number 462. It’s a lively part of town, especially being so close to the beach area. Rock Bottom isn't one of those super polished places you see in the magazines. We are just a local spot where people come to hang out. The building has been here for years, and you can kind of tell by the walls and the floor. We spend our mornings getting the place ready, wiping down tables and making sure everything is where it should be. Juhu gets quite packed on weekends, so those days are always a bit more chaotic for us. Sometimes the music is a little loud, or the lighting is a bit dim, but that’s just how it is here. We aren't trying to win any awards for decor. We just want a space where it feels okay to sit back and relax. The staff knows most of the people who live nearby. We see the same faces every week. It gets humid in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when it's busy, but people don't seem to mind much. We just keep things moving as best as we can. It's a straightforward place with no big secrets or corporate rules. We just show up, open the doors at 462, and see who comes through. Most nights end with us just stacking the chairs and getting ready to do it again tomorrow.
