Rkb Creations

Our place, Rkb Creations, is tucked away in the New Mhada Colony at Lokhandwala Circle. We are in Building 6-B, Unit 902. Being up on the ninth floor gives us a bit of a view of Andheri West, though mostly we just see other rooftops and the heavy traffic below. We’re right behind the H. D. F. C. Bank, which is what we tell everyone when they get lost looking for us. Lokhandwala is a crazy part of Mumbai, always moving and always loud. Inside our unit, it’s a bit more controlled, but still busy. We have stacks of files and materials everywhere. It’s a typical MHADA setup, a bit tight on space but we make it work. The elevator can be temperamental, so we’ve learned to be patient. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us making sure everything runs. We spend a lot of time on the phone or staring at screens. The afternoon sun hits the windows pretty hard, so we keep the blinds down most of the time. It’s a bit of a struggle to keep the place organized when things get hectic. We don’t have any polished mission statements or corporate goals. We just show up, do the work, and try to finish before the evening rush hour makes the commute home impossible. It's just life in Andheri for us.
