Right Foods

Our business, Right Foods, is in the Virwani Industrial Estate in Goregaon East. We are at unit 35/A. If you’ve ever been to an industrial estate, you know what it’s like. It’s full of trucks loading and unloading, and there’s always the sound of machinery in the background. Our unit is split between a small office area and a larger space for storage and packing. It’s a very functional setup. We don't have any decorations or fancy furniture. Everything here is for a reason. We spend our days managing the food products we handle. It involves a lot of checking of dates and making sure the packaging is right. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s important. The office part is just two desks and a printer. We do all our invoicing and order tracking from there. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We know most of the other business owners in the estate. We’ve been here for quite a while, so we’re part of the furniture now. We don't have a marketing team or a sales force. We just make sure the food we supply is good and that it gets to the shops when they need it. It’s a simple, honest business. We just work hard and try to get everything right by the end of the day.
