Riddhi Siddhi Machine Tool

Riddhi Siddhi Machine Tool is a small shop located at Fakhruddin Manzil in Khar West. We are right near the Khar railway station, so there’s a constant stream of people passing by our door at Shop No 1. You can hear the trains arriving and the announcements if the wind is right. We deal with machine tools, so the shop is usually filled with heavy metal items and various hardware. It’s a bit of a cramped space, but we’ve managed to organize it so we know where everything is kept. The building itself is an older one, typical for this part of Mumbai. We don't have air conditioning or a fancy waiting area. It’s just a place where work happens. Most of our days are spent talking to local workshop owners or mechanics who need something specific. We get some grease on the counter and the floor, but that’s just the nature of the business. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We are just a local shop providing tools to people who need them. Sometimes the rain gets quite heavy during the monsoon and we have to move things away from the door, but we manage. It’s a simple life of buying and selling tools in a very busy neighborhood. We’ve been here a while and we plan to stay. There is always a lot to do.
