Our office is on the first floor of the Navsari Building, right on Dadabhai Nawoji Road in Fort. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy it gets around here. It’s an old building with high ceilings and that classic Fort feel. We work in realty, so we spend a lot of time on the phone or out looking at properties across the city. The office isn't very large, just enough space for our desks and a place to keep all the maps and property documents. We started Renato Realty because we knew the area well and wanted to be in the middle of the action. It’s noisy outside with the buses and the crowds, but it’s a good spot to be. We aren't some big fancy firm with a hundred employees. It’s a small group of us who handle the paperwork and talk to clients. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. We deal with all sorts of property matters, mostly around Mumbai City. It’s a lot of back and forth with the registry and checking on site locations. We don't use big words or try to impress people; we just do our job from this office in Fort. It's a lot of hard work, especially with the heat and the travel, but we’ve been at it for a while now. We usually grab lunch from one of the stalls nearby and eat while we look over the latest property listings.
