We run Ratn Sorb Architecture Design from Gala No 17 A, which is on the 2nd floor in Samrat Nagar, Worli. It’s a bit of an industrial-feeling area, and our space is right in the middle of it. Being on the 2nd floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, though it’s mostly just the hustle and bustle of Worli. Our workshop is a practical place where we spend our time on design and architectural planning. It’s not meant to be a showpiece; it’s a place where we get our hands dirty with models and drawings every single day. Samrat Nagar has a specific character, and we’ve fit right in since we moved to Gala No 17 A. We handle different types of projects, and our approach is pretty straightforward. We look at the space, we look at the requirements, and then we start drawing until we find something that works. There isn’t much more to it than that. The Muni area can be quite busy, but inside the office, it’s all about the work. We keep our files organized, though the desks are usually covered in sketches and empty tea cups. We’ve been here long enough that the walk up to the 2nd floor is just second nature now. It’s a good spot for us to do what we do without any unnecessary frills. Just a local design office doing work for the people and businesses in the area.
