Rasoi Food

We are based out of Rathod Mansion, which is over in the Ratanpole area of Santacruz East, right near the Kalina Air Indi colony. It is a very busy and crowded part of the city to live and work in. We decided to call ourselves Rasoi Food because we really try to keep our dishes tasting like they came straight out of a normal home kitchen. We do not have a massive industrial cooking setup or anything like that. It is just a regular-sized kitchen where we cook up daily meals for whoever needs them. We do not have a fixed menu that stays exactly the same for months on end. We usually just look at what looks fresh and good in the local market each morning and then decide what we are going to make. A lot of our regular customers are people who are working in the offices nearby and they really miss having a proper home-cooked meal. We pack everything up in very simple plastic containers. There are no fancy company logos or colorful stickers on our bags. We spend most of our time either hovering over the hot stove or cleaning and cutting up vegetables for the next dish. It is physical work and it can be quite tiring by the end of the day. The building we are in is actually quite old, so we sometimes have to deal with various maintenance issues or the noise from the street outside.
