Rashmi Caterers

We are over here at Sthanikraj Bhavan, right on C.D. Barfiwala Marg. It is a busy street and there is always something going on outside our doors. Rashmi Caterers has been in this spot for a while now. Most days it is just the sound of big pots clanking and people chopping up vegetables for whatever order we have that day. It gets really hot in the kitchen, especially when we have the big burners going for a wedding or a party. We don't have any fancy office space. It is mostly just stacks of plates, clean linens, and crates of ingredients waiting to be used. If you walk past, you can usually smell whatever is cooking, maybe some spices or frying onions. We just try to keep things organized so nothing gets lost in the rush. Being on Barfiwala Marg means we have to deal with the traffic when we are loading up the vans, which can be a real headache sometimes. But we are used to it by now. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we just get the work done without much fuss. It is not always perfect, sometimes things are a bit chaotic when three different orders are going out at once, but we manage. We just focus on the food and getting it to where it needs to go on time. That is pretty much our daily life here.
