Our agency is in Jogeshwari East, inside the Pearl Building at Powai Vihar. We are at Shop Number 9 in Sector 30 C. It’s a small office with some photos of buildings on the wall. We help people find places to live or work around this area. Jogeshwari has changed a lot over the years, and there are always new buildings going up. We spend a lot of our time walking around and looking at flats or talking to owners. It's a lot of running back and forth with keys. Some days we have five people wanting to see the same place, and other days it’s very quiet. We have a couple of chairs for clients to sit and talk about what they can afford. We don't use those high-end marketing tricks, we just show what is available. The Pearl building is easy to find once you get into the sector. We know most of the security guards and shopkeepers nearby. My partner and I handle everything ourselves. We keep a big notebook with all the listings and phone numbers. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works better than the apps sometimes. People like to talk face to face when they are moving house. We drink a lot of water because we are out in the sun so much. It’s a busy life but we enjoy being part of the community. The evenings are usually when we finish up our paperwork before closing the shop.
