We have been here at 403 in Andheri East for quite a while now. The office is close to Mahakali Caves, so we see a lot of people passing by every day. Most of the time, we are just sitting here handling paperwork or talking to people who drop in to ask about flats or shops in the area. Andheri East is always busy, and sometimes the noise from the street comes right up to the office, but you get used to it after a few weeks. It is just a regular place where we work. We don't have fancy furniture or anything like that. Just a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of files stacked up. People know us around here because we have stayed in the same spot for years. If you walk towards the caves, you will see our building. It is not hard to find. We usually open up in the morning and stay until late evening, depending on how much work there is to finish. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we take the stairs, which is good exercise I guess. We know the local shopkeepers and the tea stall guy downstairs. It is a simple life here. We just try to help folks find what they need without making a big fuss about it. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us now after all this time. We are just local people doing our job.
