I’ve been based here at Juhu Mahalaxmi Market for quite some time now. Most people who live around here know that Janki Kutir can be a bit of a maze if you aren't careful, but we are tucked away in Vasant Park on the 6th floor. It isn't a big fancy corporate office or anything like that. It is just where I get my work done. I started this whole thing because I needed something to do that felt real and kept me busy. My days are mostly spent dealing with various people coming in and out to talk. Sometimes it gets really loud outside because of all the market noise downstairs, but you eventually get used to it. The space is a bit cramped with all the folders and stuff I keep piled up here. It certainly isn't perfect. There is a stack of papers on my desk right now that I haven’t touched in weeks. I mostly handle everything myself. People usually find me through word of mouth or a friend of a friend. I don't really do the whole social media thing because it feels like too much extra work for one person. If you are walking around Vasant Park, you just have to look for the small sign near the entrance. The elevator works most of the time, which is a relief. I keep the door open to get some air from the hallway. It's just a regular spot for me.
