R R Diamond Tools

If you head towards Wadavili Village in Chembur East, you will find Daulat Udyog Bhawan. We are on the 14th unit there. R R Diamond Tools is our little corner of the world. Working with diamond tools is a specific kind of job that requires a lot of patience. The workshop isn't very large, so we have to be careful not to trip over each other when things get busy. It can get quite humid being so close to the village area, and we often have the fans running full blast just to keep the air moving. We aren't some big corporation with a lot of money to spend on advertising. Most people hear about us from someone else in the trade. We just focus on the grinding and the shaping that happens every day at our stations. Sometimes the material we work with is stubborn, and it takes longer than we expected to get it right. That is just part of the trade. We don't have any polished speeches about our history or anything like that. We just started working here and never really stopped. The building itself is old, and sometimes the lift doesn't work, so we have to carry everything up the stairs. It keeps us fit, I guess. We enjoy the routine of it all, from opening the locks in the morning to cleaning up the benches at night. It is just a regular day for us at the shop.
