Quanta

Up on the fifth floor of Makani Centre, you can actually see a fair bit of what’s going on down on 35th Road. We are in room 504. Quanta is the name we go by here in Bandra West. Being this high up means we don't hear every single car horn, but the sounds of the city still drift up through the glass. The elevator in this building is usually busy, so sometimes it’s faster to just wait and chat with the neighbors from the other floors. Inside our office, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of coffee mugs. Bandra West is a fast place, and we definitely feel that energy every day. We spend most of our hours looking at screens or sitting around the small table in the center of the room. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few calendars and some notes taped up near the light switches. It isn't a place for showing off. We just focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes in the evening, the light turns a nice orange color across the desks. It’s a good spot to be, even if the commute through the 35th Road traffic is a bit of a headache most days. We like the local shops nearby for lunch. It’s just our daily life here, trying to keep on top of everything that needs doing without making it more complicated than it has to be.
