Purple Foodie Catering

We run our catering business out of a space at Fidai Baug on Vp Road, specifically D- 2 in Andheri West. It is more of a working kitchen than a place for people to come and sit. We spend most of our hours chopping vegetables, simmering sauces, and packing up containers for delivery. Purple Foodie Catering is basically a group of us who enjoy being around food all day. The kitchen at Fidai Baug gets pretty busy in the mornings when we are preparing for the day's events. We have a lot of pots and pans, and there is always something being washed in the sink. Vp Road can be a bit tight for the delivery vans, but we make it work. Andheri West is a huge area to cover, so we are always checking the clocks to make sure things go out on time. We do not have a storefront with big signs; we just focus on what is happening on the stoves. Sometimes the recipes change a bit based on what we find at the market that morning. We keep our notes on a messy chalkboard in the back. It is a lot of hard work and standing up for hours, but it feels good when a big order is finally boxed and ready. We are just a local catering crew trying to do right by the food we make here in Andheri. It’s hot and busy, but we like it.
