Purohit Caterers & Khaman House

Started this place, Purohit Caterers & Khaman House, quite a few years back. We are right on Dattapada Road in Borivali East. It is a busy spot. Most mornings start very early here because the khaman needs to be ready before the sun is even fully up. Borivali East has changed a lot, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. People know us by name around here. We handle a lot of catering orders for local families. Sometimes it is for a small house puja, other times it is for something bigger. Dattapada Road gets a lot of traffic, so we see many faces passing by every single day. We don't do any big advertisements or anything like that. People just walk in or call us because they’ve been coming here for a long time. It’s a simple setup. We have our kitchen area and the counter where we put out the fresh batches. The smell of mustard seeds and curry leaves is always in the air around the shop. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone gets what they need. It isn't a fancy corporate office, just a local business trying to do its part on Dattapada Road. We like being part of the Borivali community. It’s home for us. We just keep our heads down and work. That is how we have always done things at Purohit Caterers & Khaman House.
