Priya Prabhu

My place is in the Venus Apartment, unit 101. It's located at the 10th Cross in the Doddanna Industrial Estate area, part of Four Bungalows. Most people know the Good Shepard Church, and we are right opposite that. I started this because I wanted to work for myself and help out people in the neighborhood. It’s not a big corporate setup. It's more of a personal workspace where I handle different kinds of tasks under the name Priya Prabhu. The Doddanna area is quite industrial, so there’s always the sound of machines or loading happening nearby. Being in an apartment makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a standard office. I usually have the window open to catch the breeze, even if it brings in some of the street noise. People stop by when they need something sorted out, and we usually talk over a quick coffee. It’s a very local way of doing things. I don't have a team of people in ties. It’s just me and maybe one or two helpers depending on the week. The church across the street is a good landmark for anyone trying to find the building for the first time. We keep things simple and try not to overcomplicate the work. It’s just about being reliable and getting through the daily list of chores that come my way. I've lived around here for years, so it's a familiar spot.
