My office is in Parle Navchetan Society. It’s a quiet residential society in Vile Parle East, at number 6. It’s not like those big glass buildings you see in the city. This is more of a neighborhood spot. You have to walk past the main gate and the garden area to get to where I am. I’ve been here for a long time, and most of the people in the society know me. The office is small and tucked away. It’s got a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it. I have an old wooden desk and some shelves that are starting to sag under the weight of all the documents. It stays relatively quiet here compared to the main road. Sometimes you can hear kids playing outside or someone’s TV through the wall. I like the pace here. It’s not rushed. I come in every morning, check what needs to be done, and just get to it. I don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people find me through word of mouth or because they live nearby. It’s a comfortable space. There’s a ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking noise, but I don’t even notice it anymore. It’s just a simple place for a person to do their work without any fuss or corporate attitude. The light comes in soft through the window in the afternoons and makes the room feel a bit more open.
