Presha Creation

We operate out of Room No. 2 in Parab Chawl. It’s over in Malad East, right near the Times of India gate. It’s a small space, but it’s where Presha Creation gets everything done. Living and working in a chawl means you’re always around people. There is always some noise from the street or the neighbors, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves. It’s mostly just family and a couple of helpers when things get really busy. We don't have a big sign outside or a fancy storefront. Most people find us through word of mouth. Someone tells a friend, and then they show up at our door asking if we can do something for them. We do our best with what we have. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes things difficult, but we keep going. The space is filled with tools and materials, so there isn't much room to move around. We know where everything is, though. It might look like a mess to someone else, but it’s our system. We aren't looking to be famous. We just want to do a decent job and make sure the people who trust us are satisfied with what they get. It’s just how we live. The cats from the alley sometimes wander in, and we just let them stay for a bit while we finish our work for the day.
