Preet Creations

We have our little spot at Block No 5, A Wing in Sion. It’s located on the Sion Sarkhej Sanad Cross Road, very near to Sion Hospital. If you know the hospital, you can find us pretty easily, though the cross road is always packed with people and vendors. We call it Preet Creations, and it’s where we do all our creative work. It might be clothes or something else depending on what the customer wants, but mostly it's just us and our machines. The room isn't very large, so we have to be careful where we put the fabric and the finished pieces. The walls are painted a pale yellow, but they’ve faded over time. We have a couple of big windows that let in some light, which is good for the detailed work we do. Sometimes the noise from the hospital area is a bit much, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We have a small tea kettle in the back so we don’t have to keep going out. It’s just a few of us working here, and we’ve known each other for a long time. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the door so people know they’ve found the right block. It’s a humble place, and we like it that way because we can focus on what we’re making without too many distractions. Most days we are just busy cutting and sewing.
