Prayag Foods Pvt. Ltd. is based at the Krishna Factory on Bapurao Jagtap Marg in Byculla. It’s a solid building, number 923, right in the heart of a very active part of town. We’ve been here long enough that the sounds of the city just feel like background noise now. Inside the factory, it’s all about the food we prepare. It’s not a quiet place. There is always something humming or some sort of activity going on. We handle a lot of ingredients and spend most of our time making sure everything is handled the right way. We aren't really the type to go on about our history or anything like that. We just come in, get to work, and make sure the batches are done on time. Byculla can be a bit crowded, especially during the middle of the day, but we’ve managed to figure out the timing for our deliveries and pickups. The walls here have seen a lot of work over the years. It’s a practical space, meant for production, not for showing off. We keep the floors clean and the machinery running. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. It’s just a regular food business doing what we do every single day without making a big fuss about it.
