Our shop is tucked into Jay Laxmi Building at Kalbadevi, right across the street from Hasmukh Tea and Company. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the people and the constant traffic. We’ve got Shop No 360/64, and it’s a space that’s seen plenty of seasons. Being opposite a tea shop means we’re always smelling that brewing chai, which is nice when things get hectic in the afternoon. We do a lot of work involving cards and paper for different events. It’s a lot of manual work, checking names and dates over and over so nothing goes wrong. The building itself is old, with high ceilings and walls that could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works fine for us. We don't have a big marketing department or a fancy website. It’s just us sitting at the desks, dealing with the daily rush of Kalbadevi. Sometimes the street noise is so loud we have to shout to hear each other, but you get used to it after a week. We keep our supplies stacked against the back wall, and there’s always a box of scraps somewhere on the floor. People find us because they’re already in the neighborhood for tea or other shopping. We just try to get the jobs done by the time the sun goes down. It’s a simple setup, nothing too polished, just a local business trying to keep up.
