Pragati Traders

Pragati Traders is over at Shop No. 2 in Gautam Nagar-E. We are on Road No. 8 in the M.I.D.C. area. If you know where Ronak Gold is, we are right near there. We are also behind Aakruti Centre Point. Andheri East is always packed with traffic, so getting here takes some patience. Our shop is small and stays busy with the daily trade. We keep things organized as best as we can in the limited space. Being in M.I.D.C. means we are surrounded by other businesses and small factories. It is a very industrial vibe. We do not have a fancy reception desk. Most of the time, we are just sitting behind the counter or checking the stock in the back. The road outside can get a bit muddy during the monsoon, which is common for this part of Mumbai. We have seen the area change a lot over the years. New buildings like Aakruti Centre Point have come up, but our shop stays pretty much the same. It is a practical place for Pragati Traders to operate from. We know most of the other shop owners on Road No. 8. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoons. It is just a normal, local business. We do not use much technology besides the basics. We just focus on getting the orders right and keeping the inventory moving. It is a noisy, busy place, but it is home for us.
