Libas Riyaz Gangji

If you ever find yourself on Sayani Road in Prabhadevi, you might notice Shop Number 7 in Sigma Estate 2. We’ve been in this shop for a good while. The estate itself is always humming with activity, mostly people moving boxes or making deliveries. We do a lot of clothing work here, focusing on whatever needs to get done that day. It is not a very big space, but we make it work for us. Usually, there are rolls of cloth sitting around and sketches on the table. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us. We spend most of our time at the shop, making sure the measurements are right and the finishes are clean. Sayani Road can be a bit loud with the traffic, but once you step inside the shop, it's all about the work. We get all sorts of people coming in. Some have been coming to us since we first opened. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just provide clothes that fit well and look okay. The Sigma Estate is a practical place to be. It's easy for suppliers to drop things off. We just show up every morning, drink some tea, and get to it. There is no mystery to it. We just enjoy the process of making things by hand. Our setup is simple and we keep it that way because it works for the kind of stuff we make.
