Point Of Origin

Point Of Origin at 293, Nagdevi Street, Badri Bldg., 1St Floor. Nagdevi Street is a world of its own. If you’ve ever been there, you know it’s a maze of shops and people. We are on the first floor of the Badri Building. The staircase is old stone and a bit worn down in the middle of each step. Point Of Origin isn't a very large place. We have a couple of rooms filled with boxes and some old wooden cupboards. The windows look out onto the street, but they’re usually covered in grime from all the traffic below. We spend a lot of our day dealing with the logistics of moving goods in and out of such a crowded area. It takes a lot of patience to work here, I think. The building has a lot of history, and you can see it in the high ceilings and the thick walls. We don't have fancy office furniture. Most of our chairs have been repaired at least once. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always someone coming in to ask about a price or a delivery. We share the floor with a few other small businesses, so there’s always a lot of coming and going. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building quite hard, making it a bit stuffy. We just open the windows and put the fans on high. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We’ve been here for a long time and don't plan on moving. Anyway, that’s life here.
