Pizza Way is a small shop located at Sahar 6. We spend most of our time around the ovens, so it stays pretty hot in here even when the fans are on. We’ve been in this spot at Sahar 6 for a while, and the neighborhood knows us mostly for the smell of baking dough that drifts out onto the sidewalk. Running a pizza place isn't easy; there’s always flour on the floor and dishes piled up in the sink. We aren't a big chain with fancy uniforms. It’s usually just us in our aprons, trying to get the orders out before they get cold. The phone rings a lot, and sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three orders come in at once. We do our best to keep things moving. We don't have much of a seating area, just a few chairs for people waiting. It’s a practical setup. We start early in the morning prepping the toppings and we don't usually head home until late at night when the streets get quiet. The oven is the heart of the place, and it’s been with us since we started. Sometimes we run out of boxes or have to deal with a delivery bike that won't start, but we figure it out. It’s just how things are at Pizza Way. We keep it simple and just focus on the work we have to do right here at Sahar 6.
