Pizza Casa Versova

Pizza Casa Versova is located on 12th Main, right at the 5th Cross, house number 6. Versova is a nice part of town, and we like being here. The shop isn’t very big, so the smell of the oven usually fills up the whole street when we’re baking. We spend a lot of time kneading dough and checking the temperature of the ovens. It’s a bit of a process. During the rainy season, the dampness makes the dough act differently, which can be annoying. We have a few bikes for delivery parked out front most of the time. The 12th Main gets busy in the evenings with people coming home from work. We see the same faces quite often. It’s not a corporate chain, so things are a bit more relaxed here. If a lightbulb goes out, we might take a day or two to fix it. We just focus on getting the pizzas out. The 5th Cross is a decent spot, and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors pretty well. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s quiet just to get some fresh air. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us making sure the toppings are fresh and the crust isn’t burnt. We don't have any big plans, just keeping the shop running and making sure the flour delivery shows up on time.
