We’re located at 157/159 Narayan Dhuru Street, on the 1st floor of Lotus Chambers. If you know this area, you know it’s the heart of the hardware and tools market. It’s always crowded and there’s always something being loaded or unloaded on the street below. Our office and storage space is just up one flight of stairs. It’s not the biggest place, but we’ve managed to organize it so we can find what we need. We’ve been working as a family business here for a long time. It’s mostly about dealing with the daily flow of customers and managing the stock we have on hand. There’s no room for anything fancy in this part of town. We just focus on the basics. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who come up to the office. The building itself is quite old and has that classic busy atmosphere you find in South Mumbai. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on being here every day and doing what we do. It can be a bit chaotic with all the people and the goods moving around, but we’re used to the energy of the market. We just keep our heads down and try to stay on top of everything. It's just a regular business day for us, from the moment we open until we lock up the shutters in the evening.
