We've been at 5 Masjid Narayan Dhuru Cross Lane for a while now. If you know the area, it's pretty busy most mornings. It’s mostly just us here surrounded by a lot of metal and the smell of grease. Being a tool shop, we spend a lot of time sorting through bins and making sure the stock is actually where it’s supposed to be. It’s not a fancy place by any means. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the actual work to worry about that. Some days it gets quite loud on the cross lane with all the deliveries coming in and out. We see a lot of regular faces coming through the door, guys who have been working in the trades for years. They usually know exactly what they need, so we don't do a lot of talking unless it’s about the weather or how the traffic was getting in today. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the shop feel a bit heavy, so we just keep the fans going and keep moving. It's a simple life running a place like this. We don't have a big office or anything, just the counter and the shelves. Most of the day is spent just checking the inventory or helping someone find a specific wrench they lost. It’s just how it goes here at Paramount Tools Co. Nothing too complicated, just a lot of hardware and a bit of dust.
