Panshikar Aahaar

Panshikar Aahaar is a small shop located in the Gordhandas Building on Jagannath Shankar Sheth Road in Girgaon. We are at shop number two, right across from the Portuguese Church and Central Plaza. Girgaon is an old part of Mumbai, and it has a lot of character. We’ve been here for a long time, serving the people who live and work in this neighborhood. Our place isn't big, and it’s often crowded, but we like it that way. We don't have any fancy marketing strategies or polished mission statements. We just make the food we’ve always made and serve it to the regulars who come in every day. The street outside is always noisy with cars and people, but inside, it’s all about the food. My staff and I work in a small space, so we have to be quick. We know most of our customers by name, and we’ve seen their families grow up over the years. We use simple ingredients and don't try to overcomplicate things. The building is old, and you can tell by the walls and the floor, but it’s home to us. We open up early in the morning to get things ready for the day. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We don't want to be anywhere else but right here in Girgaon. It’s a busy spot, and we are just happy to be here doing our bit.
