Pan India Food Ltd

Our office and workspace is in Goregaon East, specifically over in the Kalina area. Despite the "Ltd" in the name, it is mostly just a few of us in a room with a bunch of boxes and some old desks. The building is not very new, so the elevator is pretty slow and sometimes it makes a clanking sound that scares the new guys. We handle a lot of food products, mostly moving stuff from one place to another. There is a lot of paperwork involved, and the printer always seems to jam when we are in a hurry to get a shipment out. The area around here is pretty industrial and busy. We usually get our lunch from the small stall down the street because it is fast and cheap. In the monsoon, the roof leaks a little near the back window, so we have to move the pallets around to keep things dry. It is not the most glamorous job, just a lot of checking lists and making sure the labels are right before things go out the door. We do not have a big reception area or anything. If you come by, you will probably just see us sitting at our desks surrounded by stacks of invoices and empty mugs. We just try to get through the day's tasks without too many mistakes. It is a quiet life for the most part, just steady work in Goregaon.
