Padmavati Creation

Padmavati Creation is located at Shop No 14 in the Padmavati Darshan Building. We are right across from the Deepak Cinema in the Pydhonie area, specifically Mandvi. If you know Elphistan Road West, then you probably know where we are. The building is older and has a lot of character. We spend most of our time here surrounded by different types of fabrics and half-finished projects. It gets quite loud outside with the cinema crowds and the traffic on the main road, but inside we just focus on what we are making. We didn't start this with some big grand plan. It was just about making clothes that people would want to wear. Pydhonie is a tight-knit place, so we know a lot of the other shop owners around here. We usually have rolls of cloth leaned up against the walls and scissors on every table. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we get a lot of people in the shop at once. We don't do those glossy brochures. Usually, someone sees something a friend is wearing and they ask where they got it, and then they end up here at our door. We do our best to get the fit right. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. Sometimes we run out of chai before the day is over, but that is just how it goes in a busy shop like ours.
