Oxy Cafe

We are located in Matunga West, specifically over at Saudagar in the Shubhashree Woods building. It’s a nice enough spot in Krishna Kunj Apartment at number 143. I started this cafe because I wanted a place to work that wasn't too far from where I live. Most days are pretty quiet in the mornings, which gives me time to wipe down the tables and check the coffee machine. It’s not a big corporate chain, just a local spot where the chairs might not all match perfectly. We have some plants by the window that I try to keep alive, though the Mumbai heat makes it tough sometimes. People from the apartments upstairs often come down to get something to drink or just to sit for a bit away from their own noise. I do most of the work myself, from taking orders to cleaning the dishes in the back. Sometimes I forget to restock the sugar or the milk runs low, and I have to run out quickly to the shop nearby. The street outside can get a bit loud with the honking, but we’ve got the doors to block most of it out. It’s a simple setup, really. We just make drinks and some snacks and hope the AC keeps working through the summer months. It's just a regular neighborhood cafe for the people around Se area.
