Omsai Juice & Fast Food

Over at Chembur 15/21, we run Omsai Juice & Fast Food. It’s a bit of a mix of things here. We have the fruit for the juices and the stuff for the fast food. It makes for a busy morning getting everything set up before people start arriving. Chembur can be a tough place with the traffic, but our corner is where people stop to catch their breath. We don't have a fancy interior. It’s mostly just some crates of fruit and the machines. Sometimes the blenders are so loud we can't hear the customers, so we have to ask them to point at the menu or shout their order. We aren't polished or professional in the way big chains are. We wear regular clothes and we talk to people like they are our neighbors, because they usually are. The juice is fresh because we don't have much room to store stuff, so we have to get it every day. It’s a lot of manual work, peeling and cutting and squeezing. Your hands get sticky and your back hurts by the end of the shift. But we've been at this address for a while and we know how the neighborhood works. We don't make big promises. We just make the juice and the snacks and hope people like them enough to come back tomorrow. It's just a small family business and we like it that way.
