We are located at 98 Narayan Dhuru Street, in the 1B section. If you’ve ever been to Masjid Bunder, you know how crowded and loud it gets. It’s a maze of shops and wholesalers, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Our space is small and packed to the ceiling with stock. It’s an old building, the kind with thick walls and narrow stairs that make moving boxes a real challenge. We mostly deal in hardware and industrial supplies. It’s been a family business for as long as I can remember. My grandfather used to sit at the same desk where I sit now. The street outside is always full of handcarts and people rushing around. You have to be careful not to get bumped while walking. We don't have air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that creak a bit. People come to us because they know we usually have that one odd part they can't find anywhere else. We keep everything recorded in big ledgers, even though some people tell us we should use a computer for everything. It’s just the way we’ve always done it. Sometimes it takes a minute to find what someone is looking for in the back, but we always find it eventually. It’s a tough environment with all the heat and noise, but it’s where we belong. We just take it one customer at a time and try to keep the stock organized enough to manage.
