Nritya Shakti Foundation

Our space is up on the sixth floor of Shri Sai Corporate Park, which is right on Mahakali Temple Road in Goregaon West. If you know the Vasant area, we are pretty close to that. It’s a decent building, though the elevators can be a bit slow during the busy hours in the morning. We started the Nritya Shakti Foundation because we really enjoy dancing and wanted a place for it. The room has enough space for people to move around without bumping into each other too much. We get a lot of people from Galaxy and Laxmi Nagar coming over. It’s not like those big, shiny corporate offices you see elsewhere; it’s more of a working studio. We keep the mirrors clean and the floors swept, and that’s about it. People come here to practice and learn different moves. Sometimes the music gets a little loud, but the neighbors don't seem to mind too much. It’s a good spot in Mumbai 400062. We spend a lot of time here, even on weekends. Usually, you’ll find one of us sorting out the schedules or fixing the sound system. It's a simple setup for anyone who wants to dance. We don't do much fancy advertising, mostly just people telling their friends about us. If you’re around Goregaon, you can just stop by and see what’s going on in 602. There’s a tea shop downstairs where we usually grab a drink before starting the evening sessions. It’s a busy building but our corner stays focused on the movement and the rhythm of the day.
