You can find us at Soona Mahal, which is at 143 Marine Drive. The 400020 area is always active with people walking along the water. Being right on Marine Drive means we get to see the ocean every single day, which is one of the better parts of working here. The building itself is an old one and it has that classic look you see in this part of Mumbai. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place running. There is always a bulb to change or a table that wobbles a little bit. It is not a perfect setup, but it is our setup. The breeze comes off the sea and sometimes carries that salty smell into the room. We open the doors and let the air in when we can. The traffic on the road outside is almost constant, especially in the evenings when everyone comes out for a walk. We aren't a big corporate chain or anything like that. It’s just a few of us here making sure things are okay for anyone who comes through the door. We have our regulars who we know by name and then there are the tourists who are just passing through Soona Mahal. It is a simple life here by the bay. We just take it one day at a time and do the work.
