We are located right in the heart of Crawford Market at Shop No. 510. If you’ve ever been to Crawford Market, you know it’s a maze of shops and people and smells. Our shop is quite small, but we try to make the most of every inch. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a struggle to get things down from the top, but we have a sturdy ladder for that. The market is loud from the moment it opens until the gates close at night. We’ve gotten used to the shouting of the vendors and the honking of the carts outside. We handle a bit of everything here, mostly goods that people come to the market specifically to find. It’s a very old-school way of doing business. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just talk to the people who walk in. Some days are so busy you can hardly move in the aisle, and other days it’s just us and the shop cats. We’ve seen many generations of shoppers come through these doors. We like the history of the place. The walls are a bit cracked and the floor is worn down from all the footsteps over the years, but it feels like home to us. We just keep the shop open and wait to see who walks in next. It’s never a boring day when you work at Crawford Market.
