I've been working here in Malad East for quite some time now. My office is basically in Kurar Village, right behind the Jain Temple on Hanuman Nagar Road. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out to work or the station. I handle a lot of insurance paperwork here as an advisor. Most days, it’s just me sitting at the desk, looking over forms and talking to people who walk in from the neighborhood. Chawl No 1 is where you'll find us. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything like that, just a regular place where we get the work done. The road outside can get a bit loud with the traffic and the shops, but you get used to it after a while. I try to keep things simple. People come in worried about their policies or needing help with a claim, and I just sit down and explain what needs to happen. Sometimes the tea boy from around the corner brings over a cup while I'm explaining things to a client. It’s a small space, but it’s enough for what we do. Being near the temple means there's always a bit of peace nearby even when the street is crowded with people. I usually get here early to beat the worst of the heat and clear the backlog of papers on my desk. It’s just honest work, making sure folks in Kurar Village have their stuff sorted out.
