Our workshop is right there in Asalfa, specifically at Gala No. 1. It’s quite easy to find since we are just opposite the Jungleshwar Mahadeo Mandir on JMM Road. You can usually hear the temple bells from our door. Ghatkopar West is always crowded, but this spot works for us. We handle a lot of different components here. The space is a bit tight with all the stock, but we manage. It’s a bit dusty because of the road work outside, but that’s just part of being in this area. We’ve been here for several years now. Most of our days are spent checking parts and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a small operation, just me and a couple of helpers. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. People just walk in through the main shutter. Sometimes the rain gets a bit heavy and we have to watch the door, but usually, it's fine. We know the other shop owners on JMM Road quite well. We often share tea in the afternoons when things quiet down. It’s a decent living and we like being part of the Asalfa community. Nothing fancy, just hard work every day in the gala. We try to keep things organized, though it gets messy when a big shipment arrives. There's always something to move or sort through every afternoon.
