New-Tech Tool Manufactures

Our place is at 61 in the B-Block of Shah Industrial Estate. Deonar is a bit of a trek for some, but it’s where all the industrial stuff happens. New-Tech Tool Manufactures is what we do. We make tools here, mostly for other factories. It’s heavy work and the floor is always a bit slick with oil. We have these big machines that take up most of the room. When they are all running at once, you can’t hear yourself think. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time. The walls are stained and the lighting isn't the best, but we know where every wrench and bolt is kept. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know we are here in the B-Block. Sometimes we get orders that are really specific and take a lot of trial and error to get right. We spend a lot of time measuring things with calipers and making sure the cuts are clean. It’s not the kind of job you do if you want to keep your fingernails clean. By the end of the day, we are all pretty worn out. But there is a sense of doing something real with your hands. We just keep our heads down and work on the orders as they come in. It’s a steady rhythm here at the estate, and we are just another shop in the middle of it all.
