New India Tool is tucked away in Dahisar East, specifically at number 3 in Vishkarma Colony. We are part of the Vishwakarma Town area, located in what everyone calls the Kissan Kaling Chawl. It’s a busy little pocket of the city where everyone lives close together. The chawl has its own energy, with neighbors always talking and the sound of daily life coming through the windows. We’ve been operating out of this small unit for years. It’s a simple place with concrete floors and old wooden shelves that have seen better days. We keep our tools and supplies stacked up wherever they fit. It’s not a fancy showroom, it’s just where we work. Getting here can be a bit tricky if you don’t know the lanes of Dahisar East, but once you find Vishkarma Colony, we are easy enough to spot. We spend our mornings sorting through inventory and the afternoons dealing with whatever tasks come our way. There is always something to be done, whether it’s checking stock or cleaning up the workspace. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the trade. We like the grit of the area and the fact that everyone here is working hard to get by. It’s an honest spot, and we are just glad to have our place in the middle of it all, doing our bit every day.
