Neepa Khandelwal here at 13 Khar West on the 1st Floor. It is a busy little spot. Most days start with the sound of the trains nearby and people rushing past to the station. We have been in this space for a while now. It is not a very big office but it fits what we need. You have to walk up the stairs since it is on the first floor. Sometimes the bell rings and it is just a courier or someone looking for a different building. Khar is always moving. We mostly just keep our heads down and get through the paperwork. There is a small tea stall just down the road where everyone goes around four. It is part of the routine. The walls are a bit plain and we have a few old desks that have seen better days. It feels like a real place though. Not like those shiny buildings in BKC where everything is glass. Here you can actually hear the city. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside but you get used to it after a week. We usually keep the windows shut when it rains. It is just a normal day-to-day operation. Nothing fancy. We try to stay organized but sometimes the files pile up on the corners of the desks. That is just how it goes when you are busy. Most of us have been working in this area for years now and we like the vibe.
