Neelams Pride is tucked away in the Gorai Sahakar Society over in Borivali West. We are located at Plot No.62 on Rsc-52, right off L.T. Road. This part of Mumbai is always moving, but our little corner in Gorai-II feels a bit more like a community. I opened this spot because I wanted something local that people could walk to from their homes. It is not a big corporate operation or anything like that. It is just me and a couple of staff members who have been here for years. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their names. The building is a bit older now, and sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble, but we fix it and keep going. We spend most of our time just keeping things clean and making sure the food is ready when people show up. Borivali has changed a lot since I was a kid, with more cars and taller buildings, but this society stays pretty much the same. We don’t have a big marketing team or fancy signs. Most people find us just by living nearby or hearing about us from a neighbor. It is a quiet life, mostly. We open up, we serve whoever comes in, and we go home. It is a bit of a climb if you are coming from the main station, but people do not seem to mind the walk. It is just our little place here.
