Navkar Real Estate

Our office is in Shop No 22, way up on the 6th floor of the Natkrup building in the Sion GIDC industrial estate. It is a bit of a trek to get up here every day, but you get a decent view of the factories. We are right opposite the Advanced Training Institute, so we see a lot of students and workers passing by in the lanes all day. Navkar Real Estate is mostly just us sitting with our registers and our phones. We spend a lot of time talking to people about industrial sheds or small shops around this area. The GIDC area has a very specific smell of oil and metal, and it stays with you even after you leave. We have a couple of old chairs for visitors and a big map of the area pinned to the wall with tape. It is usually pretty busy, either the phone is ringing or someone is knocking on the door to ask about a lease. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us making sure we keep track of who is moving where. The afternoon sun hits the windows pretty hard, so we keep the curtains half-drawn to stay cool. It is a practical space for work. We do not have a fancy waiting room with magazines. People come here because they need a place for their business, and we show them what is available on our list. It keeps us busy until the sun goes down.
