Navin Enterprises

My name is Rajesh and I run Navin Enterprises. We are over in Goregaon East, at R3-201 in the Shivsadan Society. This is part of the MMRDA Colony, and we are right across from the Sharma Industrial Estate. It is a busy residential and industrial mix over here. We use one of the rooms as our main office and storage. It is not a big commercial building, just a modest space in the society. Being near the industrial estate is helpful because a lot of our work involves the people there. We have been here for several years. We don't have a lot of employees, just a couple of us doing everything from taking orders to packing boxes. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, so we have to carry things up to the second floor, which keeps us fit I suppose. We don't have a fancy brochure or any glossy posters. We just talk to people on the phone or when they come by the society. It’s a very local way of doing things. The colony is always noisy with kids playing and people moving about, but we are used to it. We just try to get our work done and keep things moving. We don't have any big goals of becoming a giant company, we just like being part of the Goregaon community and doing our part. We work hard and keep things simple.
