N S D Estate Consultant is based in Building No 21, on the ground floor over in Andheri West. Being on the ground floor is handy because people don't have to hunt for us or climb any stairs. Andheri is a fast place, always loud and moving. Our office reflects that a bit. There’s always paper moving around and the phone is usually ringing with someone on the other end. We’ve got a few chairs for people to sit while we look things up for them on the computer. It’s a practical space. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’re usually out looking at properties anyway. The office is more like a base for us. We come back here to write things down and make our calls. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a blessing during the humid summers. We’ve been working in Andheri for a long time, so we’ve seen shops open and close all over the place. We know the local landlords and the people looking for a place to stay. It’s a lot of talking and walking. We keep our keys on a big hook by the door so we can grab them and go. If you come by, we might be out on a site visit, but someone is usually around to help eventually. It’s just a normal small business trying to keep up with the city.
