Getting to our place at Mx Electronics can be a bit of a puzzle if you don't know the way. We are located at 211/13 in the Fabricon Industrial Estate, right on B.M. Bhargava Road. It is tucked away behind the Khira Industrial Estate in Santacruz West. This part of Mumbai is always humming with noise and activity. There are delivery vans constantly trying to navigate the narrow lanes around here. Our workspace isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it serves us well. We’ve spent a lot of time inside these walls dealing with all sorts of technical things. The air is usually filled with the sound of fans and the occasional beep from a machine. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we have our fans going to keep things moving. Most of the people working here have been around for ages. We know the local chai wallah and the guys at the other units in the estate. It's the kind of place where you help your neighbor move a heavy box or borrow a tool when yours breaks. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or fancy signs. Our focus is just on the daily grind and making sure we get through the pile of work on our benches. Santacruz is a busy neighborhood, and being part of the industrial side of it keeps us on our toes.
