Our office for Mukund Impex & Projects Pvt.Ltd. is up on the third floor of the Jugal Jyoti building. We are located at 176 CST Road in Kalina, which is part of Santacruz East. Being right on CST Road means there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the traffic and the horns all day long, even from the third floor. We do a mix of import-export work and manage various projects. The office is usually piled high with folders and stacks of paper. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, someone just looks up from their desk when a visitor walks in. The elevator in Jugal Jyoti has its moods, so sometimes we just end up walking the stairs. It keeps us moving, I guess. Our team is small and we’ve mostly been together for years. We spend a lot of time coordinating with people at different project sites or checking on customs clearances. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the days feel very long when there are delays, but that’s the nature of this kind of work. We aren't trying to be some giant corporate entity. We are just a group of people working out of a building in Kalina, trying to make sure our projects stay on track and the goods keep moving. It’s a busy life here.
