Monsoon The Chaat Corner

Setting up Monsoon The Chaat Corner at Andheri Nirman Point 16 was mostly about finding a spot where people actually walk by. This part of Andheri gets really crowded, especially during the office hours and when school lets out. We are tucked into Nirman Point, at unit 16, so it's a bit of a specific spot to look for if you aren't familiar with the building layout. Most of our days are spent just prepping things and making sure the chutneys are ready before the rush starts. It gets quite humid here, hence the name Monsoon I guess, though we are here all year round, not just when it rains. The street noise is constant, but it feels like part of the job now. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just us behind the counter. Some days are slower than others, but usually, there's a steady stream of people looking for a quick bite. We try to keep the space clean even when it gets busy. It’s a small operation at Nirman Point 16. We’ve had the same regulars coming in for a long time, and we know exactly what they want before they even say it. It’s funny how that happens when you stay in one place for long enough. We just keep our heads down and do the work. There isn't much more to the story than that, just a small shop in a busy city.
